The Grand Old Team chant is used by many clubs, such as Celtic, Hibernian and Everton football club. However, it is believed that Celtic Football Club were the originator of the chant as they had initially played the “The Celtic Song” at Parkhead, back in 1961, with a recording from lifelong Celtic fan Glen Daly. Other football clubs, such as Tottenham then adopted the song and changed the lyrics to make them more Spurs-specific.
