What tune is the “We All Follow the Chelsea” sung to?

We All Follow the Chelsea chant is sung to the tune of “Land of Hope and Glory” by Edward Elgar.

Why is Leicester mentioned separately in the “We all follow the Chelsea” chant?

Back in the 70s, Chelsea and Leicester had a very fierce rivalry where there were a lot of clashes between players and fans. The biggest of these was on Boxing Day in 1979, where not only the players got into it but the fans also clashed heavily, causing the biggest clash between the Chelsea and Leicester football hooligan firms.

It is widely believed the above is why Chelsea specifically called out Leicester. However, there is another thought that legendary Chelsea Supporter Mick Greenway decided to throw Leicester into the chant and the rest is history. We also had a look at some other potential theories as to why Leicester is called out specifically in the “We All Follow The Arsenal” lyrics page.
