Chelsea’s 10 Men Went To Mow is a chant that you’re probably very familiar with if you think back to your younger days, as the chant takes its inspiration from the nursery rhyme “One Man Went To Mow”.
It is believed that the chant started in 1981 on a pre-season road trip to Sweden. It is believed that the legendary Chelsea supporter Mick Greenway had a tape with a bunch of kids’ songs on it. The nursery rhyme got going on that trip and it’s been around the Chelsea terraces to this day.
