The “We’ve Got Super Mik Arteta” chant originated as a terrace chant in the 2021/2022 Premier League season in celebration of Mikel Arteta. The “We’ve Got Super Mik Arteta” chant was formed by Arsenal fans, as they thought they were finally going to be back in the Champions League, but ultimately fell short. The chant, however, was created to honour Arteta’s accomplishments and contributions to the team after he was appointed head coach in December 2019.
Arteta has significantly improved Arsenal’s tactical structure and discipline since taking over as head coach. He has also guided them to numerous significant victories, including the FA Cup and the Community Shield, twice. As the “We’ve Got Super Mik Arteta” chant says, “He knows exactly what we need”.
