Takehiro Tomiyasu player profile
Takehiro Tomiyasu is a Japanese professional footballer, who was born in Fukuoka, Japan, on the 5th of November 1998. Tomiyasu started his youth career at Avispa Fukuoka. Before joining Avispa Fukuoka, Tomiyasu had a trial at Barcelona in which he was offered a place at the prestigious La Masia. However, due to issues with relocating, the move never went through. In May 2015, Tomiyasu was registered under the Avispa Fukuoka senior team and then made his first appearance in October of that year.
In January 2018, Tomiyasu made his move from Japanese football to European football when he signed with Belgian Pro League side Sint-Truiden. Tomiyasu spent 2 seasons at the Belgian side, making 41 appearances before moving to the Serie A side Bologna. Tomiyasu spent 3 seasons at the Serie A side and made a total of 64 appearances, finding the back of the next 3 times, despite being a defender.
In the summer of 2021, Tomiyasu made a move to one of Europe’s giants, Arsenal. It is reported that he joined for a fee in the region of 15-17 million pounds. Tomiysau was an immediate fan favourite as he won the Player of the Month award for September 2021. Since he’s singed, Tomiysau has been a rock in Arsenal’s backlink, hence you’ve now got the super Tomiyasu chant.
